Erica Shaps, originally from Chicago, has spent the last three years living in Jerusalem and working for humanitarian and conflict transformation nonprofit organizations. Erica previously graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and International and Global Studies and a minor in Peace, Conflict, and Coexistence Studies. During this time, she served as a Fellow at the Interfaith Youth Core and started multiple campus groups promoting religious pluralism and constructive conversations about the Middle East on college campuses.
