Eva Scrivo is a highly acclaimed hair and makeup artist, who is regarded as one of today's foremost authorities on beauty. She is the author of Eva Scrivo on Beauty: The Tools, Techniques, and Insider Knowledge Every Woman Needs to Be Her Most Beautiful, Confident Self (Atria Books, April 2011), owner of two eponymous salons in New York City, as well as a television and radio personality. Having worked with thousands of women, Eva approaches beauty as a whole and each person as an individual. With her extensive range of hands-on expertise in hair cutting, coloring, and makeup, as well as her keen understanding of skin care, nutrition, wellness, and fashion, Eva possesses a unique ability to harmonize all elements of a client's appearance and train her salon staff in all facets of beauty. She is especially known for her masterful makeovers that attract clients from all over the country and beyond.

Eva's extensive television experience includes several years as resident beauty expert on NBC's Martha, as well as guest appearances on shows such as The Dr. Oz Show, Katie Couric Show, CBS Early Show, Good Morning America, Good Day New York, and Lifetime's The Balancing Act. For six years she hosted Beauty Talk on Sirius/XM, a one-hour weekly radio show on beauty and wellness. Eva's many industry accolades include Allure's "Best of the Best" and "Bridal Beauty Experts," NY Times Style's "The Expert List," and Gotham's "Best Hairdressers," while she and her work have been featured in publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Shape, Marie Claire, and Women's Wear Daily. In 2012, she was featured in a print and video ad campaign – "It's My Team" - for the National Football League's line of female apparel.

Eva's work has further been extended to the runway at New York Fashion Week as the lead colorist at the Catherine Malandrino, Thakoon, Cynthia Rowley, DKNY, and L.A.M.B. fashion shows, where she collaborated with the designer and lead stylist to conceptualize hair color and techniques that would complement the collection. When not traveling for business, Eva works in her salons - managing a full book of clients, training her staff, and setting the creative tone for her company and the industry.
