I am a graduate of Umass Amherst with a bachelors in English.

Hello and welcome. I have always loved fiction more than reality. So many more things happen during your dreams at night than do during the daytime. I recall in 1st grade choosing this strange empty bathtub in the classroom (a decoration) and reading comic books instead of socializing. Well, guess what? Apparently other people have shared the same experience and they are the type of people I want to entertain. Journalism for me involves dismissing my own imagination in a way that is unique in its own right. It is a healthy practice and I come from a family that values the arts. Instead of fixating on my own imagination I find it useful to cover someone else's. It is not a selfless process as it helps me but I hope to also help the writer and if possible maybe two or three other people. The key advice I have received about my journalistic is to stop trying to be so clever, which in itself proves that journalism for me is a task and a job I take seriously if I do decide on covering something. Otherwise, I am writing poetry, hip-hop verses, doing standup comedy, and a multitude of various projects. I graduated Umass Amherst in 2009 with an English degree and a specialization in creative writing, a blend that has served me well, and that I hope to use to full advantage, and for you to enjoy and learn from! If only for two or three people.
