I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Right out of high school I joined the Army and went immediately to Germany. While there I deployed to Bosnia once and Kosovo twice. In 1999, I earned the titles of 1st Infantry Division and V Corps Soldier of the Year.
I left the Army in 2002. I earned a BS in Economics at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I met my wife of ten years while working at a casino. I have the best step-daughter in the world. Melissa and I have two sons together.
