Holocaust survivor, speaker, writer

In the spring of 1944, when Gene was 16-years-old, he and his family were deported from their home in Hungary to Auschwitz. With an abundance of luck, and a resilient mindset, Gene managed to survive until he was liberated by Soviet soldiers at the end of World War II. Gene has spoken to audiences for decades about his experiences and about resilience. He is a frequent media contributor on topics related to the Holocaust.
