Gertrude Joseph

Gertrude "Gerty" Joseph born in Springfield, MA is a senior at Springfield Central High School. Aside from being the President of Mass Mutual Academic Achievers, Vice President of Honor Society, High School hero volunteer and teen writer for her local newspaper; she is a member of her high school's indoor and outdoor track team that holds a league championship in 2011. She attended University of North Carolina Chapel Hill's Chuck Stone Program for Diversity in Media and Education and is a proud graduate of what she claims to be "the most defining week of her life." Her newest commitment is volunteering for a local political campaign in which she wishes to raise the voter turn out in her community.
