As founder of Applause Books, GLENN YOUNG published William Goldman, Paddy Chayefsky, John Cleese, Graham Greene, Bruce Joel Rubin, Terry Gilliam, John Patrick Shanley, Oliver Stone, James Cameron, Michael Caine, Stella Adler, Howard Kissel, Al Hirschfeld, Arthur Gelb, Stephen Sondheim, Simon Callow, and Eric Bentley. He co-edited the collected works of Harold Clurman and was the long term editor of The Best American Short Play series. As the Executive Producer of The Working Arts Library, he created the five part Working Shakespeare series hosted by Jeremy Irons & with Samuel L. jackson, Emily Watson, Claire Daines, Helen Hunt, & Blythe Danner. He's taught the advanced playwriting seminars at the Columbia Graduate Program and at Wesleyan University. He is about to launch a new imprint of exciting new fiction and performing arts. He spends most of his energies as a word doctor for the page, stage and screen.
