Hanna Markkula-Kivisilta

Secretary General, Save the Children Finland

Hanna Markkula-Kivisilta was born in 1965 and received her Master of political science from the University of Helsinki in 1994. From the years 1985 to 1996, Hanna was an active member of Vantaa City Council, and a Member of Parliament from 1991 to 2003. Becoming Secretary General of Save the Children Finland in 2003, Hanna Markkula-Kivisilta continues to change lives. She is married with two daughters and currently lives in Finland, the number one best country to be a mother.
