Indira Falk Gesink is a professor of Middle Eastern history and chair of the Department of History at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. She is the author of Islamic Reform and Conservatism (I.B.Tauris, 2009). She holds a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern history from Washington University in St. Louis.
