Raised in Lake Forest, Illinois (I still consider myself a Midwestern gal). Graduate of Georgetown University (B.A. in History and Government) followed by post graduate studies in the Fine and Decorative Arts at Christie's London and the Gemological Institute of America. Over 20 years working in the Luxury Goods industry in New York City at Tiffany & Co. in positions ranging from Assistant Buyer to eventually Vice President of Design and Product Development. Brief sabbatical at Alderson Federal Prison Camp (aka Camp Cupcake) where I earned my Scarlet F. Author of "The White Collar Club Handbook" (2017) and a novel on the luxury jewelry industry (publication date late 2017).
