Manager, Best Friends Animal Society's Parrot Garden; Adopter of two former fighting dogs

I am the manager of the Parrot Garden for Best Friends Animal Society, the largest No-Kill Sanctuary in the country, and the organization in the forefront of the No-Kill movement. Along with my husband, I have had the privilege of working with five of the dogs rescued from Michael Vick's Bad Newz Kennels. We share our home with assorted parrots and two former fighting dogs: Ray the Vicktory Dog and McCaela the Turtle, who was one of the Fearing Six dogs rescued in Toledo, Ohio.
