Jacques Berlinerblau is associate Professor and Director of Jewish Civilization at Georgetown University. He specializes in secularism, politics and religion in America, and the history of atheism. He has published five books including "The Secular Bible: Why Nonbelievers Must Take Religion Seriously" and his forthcoming "How to Be Secular: A Call to Arms for Religious Freedom" (Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt). He also produces and often hosts the webcast โ€œFaith Complex.โ€ A native New Yorker, he now lives in Washington, D.C. with his family.
