Jaime Openden, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and educator. She provides therapy to amazing children and teens at the McCarton School in NYC, one of the preeminent schools for children with autism in the nation. She teaches classes for parents and caregivers in the tri-state area through Skillshare and hosts monthly Meetups for parents and educators. Jaime has embraced the ever-changing landscape of special education through her company Bignity Ventures. Bignity Ventures is dedicated to helping everyone in the special needs community thrive by utilizing the power of the human connection as well as the power of technology. To that end, Jaime is creating a social networking site for parents, educators, therapists and individuals with special needs to learn, share and interact on both the local and national level.
