James Clementi Spokesperson, Tyler Clementi Foundation

James Clementi is a writer and LGBT advocate from New Jersey who currently works in New York City as the spokesperson for the Tyler Clementi Foundation, which promotes safe, inclusive and respectful social environments in homes, schools, campuses, churches and the digital world for vulnerable youth, LGBT youth and their allies. The foundation is named for James' younger brother Tyler, who ended his life in 2010 at just 18 years old after being the victim of cyber-bullying and an invasion of privacy for being gay. A graduate of Skidmore College, James is dedicated to increasing acceptance for LGBT people.
