I was born an empath, self-initiating as a solitary witch when I was 8 years old in the woods behind my home in Alaska. I love runes and tarot and love sharing their message. I've earned a BA in Psychology, a Black Belt in Kenpo, and I'm a Reiki Master and a Herbalist. I used cannabis to heal my rheumatoid arthritis and published my first book, Confessions of A Back Porch Herbalist on my experiences. I began writing my blog in December 2012, eventually settling on the name, Stepping Aside, an endeavor that would result in four books and too many posts to count. Writing has always been a part of my life, and I'm so blessed to have this opportunity to express myself.
