Jane-Howard Hammerstein

She has no favorite color ...

Jane-Howard Hammerstein was 10-years-old when Hitler killed himself, Germany gave up, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were A-bombed, and Japan surrendered. So the rest of her childhood was wonderful.

Eventually she would call Gen. George C. Marshall her hero. She still does.

She wrote the television scripts for SUMMER OF MY GERMAN SOLDIER (Humanitas Award, Emmy nomination) and THE LONG ROAD HOME (Writers Guild Award) after co-writing movie scripts for KALEIDOSCOPE and WAIT UNTIL DARK.

She has no favorite color.
