Jed Ryan has been a New York City-based freelance writer and photographer with a focus on LGBTQ issues since 1994. He won The Stonewall Society Pride in the Arts Awards "Reviewer of the Year" Award in 2005 and The Pride In the Arts "MOJO" Award in 2010. Through the years his writings and photographs have appeared in a wide variety of print magazines and websites. He lives in Queens, New York with his husband Joe Aiello and their pet mongoose.
