Assistant Professor at the Colorado School of Mines
Jen Schneider is an Assistant Professor of Liberal Arts and International Studies at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden. She teaches media studies and communication classes, and studies how scientists and journalists communicate emerging technologies and risks. She has written about sustainability, climate change, nanotechnology, and nuclear power. Her book Engineering and Sustainable Community Development, co-authored with Juan Lucena and Jon Leydens, will be available in 2010.
