Filmmaker
Jennifer Suhr is a filmmaker based out of Brooklyn, NY. She received her B.A. from Yale in American Studies and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration and her MFA from New York University's Graduate Film Program. Her short film, SAENG-IL (Birthday), won the Audience Award at the Gen Art Film Festival, and her thesis short, OUT THERE, received the Spike Lee Film Production Grant and the Clive Davis Award for Excellence in Music. The script for the feature version of OUT THERE was recently selected for NYU's Purple List. She is currently developing a script inspired by her experience in North Korea.
