Science, the universe, and beauty in nature

Dr. Jennifer Wiseman is an astrophysicist, studying the formation of stars and planets using radio, optical, and infrared telescopes. She is also interested in national science policy and public science engagement, and has served as an American Physical Society Congressional Science Fellow on Capitol Hill as well as a Councilor of the American Astronomical Society. She enjoys giving talks on the excitement and importance of scientific discovery, and currently directs the Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion (DoSER) program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She enjoys the beauty of the natural world.
