Jessica Cook Woodrum

Jessica Cook Woodrum is the Communications Manager for One Colorado, a statewide advocacy organization that’s advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Coloradans.

At One Colorado, Jess is responsible for the organization’s messaging and communications strategy as well as its media relations and online organizing through e-mail and social media.

Prior to joining One Colorado, Jess ran her own interactive marketing business, providing clients with website development, social media strategy, and digital communications services. Before striking out on her own as a consultant, Jess worked for almost five years at ADCO, a full-service marketing agency. During that time, she served in many roles—as Account Executive, Copywriter, and Director of New Media.

A native of South Carolina, Jess has a Bachelor’s degree in English / Creative Writing from the University of South Carolina at Columbia.
