Independent Scholar in Religious Studies

After finishing a PhD at Oxford, I've worked to bring my research to a wider audience and to address the lack of information available about religious history and practice in public discourse. My academic research focuses on the history of interactions between Christianity and Islam, and I write a lot about Islamophobia, how religious communities have used (and been used) by the law, and the history of the intersection between religion, imperialism, and globalization.
