Jill Kohel

Jill teaches History and English at a public high school in Minnesota. She has two kids: a son, Ben, who is a junior in high school and Maddie, who is 14 years old. Jill works with teenagers 24-7 and feels she has a pretty good grasp on the ways kids try to work over the adults in their lives, although this doesn't make her immune from their efforts. She finds that commiserating with friends and family about the good, the bad and the ugly sides of parenting helps to keep her sane.
