John Torrey

Research assistant

John Torrey grew up in Hanover, New Hampshire. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Religion with a certificate in Global Health and Health Policy from Princeton University in 2011. While at Princeton, John wrote a thesis on how churches and mosques are engaging with HIV/AIDS in Tanzania based off ethnographic research he conducted in the country. John is currently working in Hanover, N.H., as a research assistant to a Dartmouth College Anthropologist. He is considering eventually going to divinity school.
