Judybeth Greene

artist, community activist, educator, judybethgreene.com

Judybeth is an artistic soul whose orientation is toward "tikkun olam" the Hebrew phrase for "healing the world." She has practiced law in Washington, D.C. for over 25 years while maintaining a vibrant arts practice: showing her work, tutoring or teaching art, accepting commissioned work and leading community art projects.

Judybeth's art often has a feminist and/or spiritual bent. Her Diet Soda Addiction art work, bellydance quilts, yoga paintings and "Finding Frida" artist book illustrate both of these concerns. www.judybethgreene.com

She is working on getting her Masters in Teaching Art from the Corcoran College of Art & Design, while continuing to practice law and balance other aspects of her life. Her struggle with diet soda is just part of her ongoing overall effort to achieve a healthy life balance.
