Julie Alvin

Julie is a writer and editor living in New York City. She is currently working at Google, creating dining and travel content as a Senior Editor for Zagat. She has previously been on staff at Details, Cookie and Autoweek magazines, where she gained diverse experience reporting on food, travel, home, style and cars. On days off, Julie can be found eating dumplings in Chinatown or volunteering with the Lower East Side Girls Club. On weeks off, she can be found hostel hopping in Bolivia or Indonesia.
