Kaya Jones rose to prominence as a member of pop music’s most sensational groups, The Pussycat Dolls. Leaving the group to bring her own sound to the masses, Kaya has developed her own career and fan base as a solo artist in the world of pop and dance music As a teenager, Kaya was signed to a development deal by R. Kelly in 1999, and with Capital Records in 2001. In 2003, Kaya attended an open audition to join The Pussycat Dolls; her tryout was successful, joining at the same time as Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton as a vocalist for the group. Her vocals appear on the Pussycat Dolls recordings "We Went as Far as We Felt Like Going" and "Sway" on the album PCD, and she appears in the "Sway" music video. 2004 saw Kaya appear in the music video "How Come" by D12 and Eminem, and she sang backup vocals for Mick Jagger on the Golden-Globe-winning song "Old Habits Die Hard" (also featuring Katy Perry) from the movie Aflie. Kaya contributed two songs to the 2009 movie American Pie Presents: Book of Love. In April 2011 Kaya performed twice at the world-famous Jeffry Sanker White Party in Palm Springs, to thousands of fans. She also performed on the main stage at 2011 L.A. Pride, directly opening up for Estelle. In May/June 2011, Kaya spent seven weeks in China on the Hennessy Artistry Tour. After only 20 days on QQ (a.k.a. Chinese Twitter), Kaya had over 100,000 fans, and that is growing each day. Kaya Jones is the only international artist to perform 15 dates in the Chinese market. She has developed a strong fan base in this huge market. A lover of everything fashion and beauty, Kaya is working with the co-creator of E! Networks on his new venture, theLOOKstore.com. Kaya will have her own celebrity boutique on the e-commerce site, featuring exclusive content, recommendations for her favorite products and a blog telling all her beauty and fashion secrets. Kaya will also be doing a special blog with her “Rainbow Mafia,” which is the name she gave to the team that puts her together. From her hair and makeup to her styling, we will see how she gets her red carpet and performance looks! Kaya’s newest single and video “Waiting for Saturday” shot in Milan, Italy, has been released in Italy, Russia and Portugal this year.

In the U.S.A. the single “Boyfriend” is currently for sale on iTunes, and she is very excited to be shooting the video with the Iconic Chi Chi LaRue.

In collaboration with Regi, the top DJ in Belgium, Kaya spent the summer of 2010 touring behind the recent success of their single, “Take It Off.” The album has reached gold and hit the U.K. Dance Charts at #8.

As a supporter of the troops, earlier this year Kaya did a two-week USO tour in Iraq. Performing two shows each day for the troops in the middle of the war-torn desert has been a life-changing experience for her.

A seasoned entertainer, Kaya has performed at events such as, VH1’s Divas Live, VH1’s Fashion Rocks and MTV’s Rock the Vote, among many others. Showcasing her stunning good looks, Kaya Jones has appeared on the covers of a myriad of publications and fashion magazines, including Esquire, Interview, Maxim, Stuff, FHM, Blender, Guitar and Us Weekly. Born in Toronto, Canada, her Jamaican-Italian heritage and natural blonde hair combined with her modelesque, 5’11 stature always turn heads. Kaya currently resides in Los Angeles.
