Kevin M. F. Platt is the author of books and articles about the intersections of Russian culture, political life and history — most recently the book Terror and Greatness: Ivan and Peter as Russian Myths. He also writes about historical memory and contemporary culture in Russia and in Eastern Europe. He is Edmund J. and Louise W. Kahn Term Professor in the Humanities at the University of Pennsylvania.
