Artist
Greek artist Konstantin Kakanias’ drawings, paintings and sculptures have been exhibited around the world at galleries such as Paul Kasmin-New York, Jennifer Flay-Paris, Kim Light-Los Angeles, and with Rebecca Camhi at the Basel Art Fair and the Armory Show in New York. His work belongs to many private and public collections.
He has designed textiles for Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Lacroix and collaborated with Italian and French Vogue as an illustrator and worked with Tiffany & Co and Barney’s NY.
Konstantin's award winning illustrations have been published in several magazines including the NY Times, the LA Times, The New Yorker, Interview, Vogue and Paper magazine. He as well as collaborated with Diane Von Furstenberg and Frederic Malle on a comic book.
Most recently he created a collection for Swarovski and illustrated all of Frederic Malle fragrances for Edition Parfumeur.
