Writer, teacher, adventurer, cancer survivor, and nap enthusiast
Lauren Sczudlo, 30, is a writer, teacher, adventurer, cancer survivor, and nap enthusiast. Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Sczudlo has lived around the world including in New York City, New Zealand, Australia, and Spain, working jobs that ranged from teacher to restaurant manager to vineyard laborer. Diagnosed at 28 with Hodgkin's lymphoma, Sczudlo survived two years of chemotherapies, radiation, and a life-saving stem cell transplant. Sczudlo writes fictional short stories, personal essays about her cancer experience, and blogs on QuestionThirty, a lifestyle website where Sczudlo and Q30 readers ask and answer life’s pressing question.
