Fulbright Fellow in Bahrain
Lauren Vriens is a Fulbright Fellow in Bahrain researching human capital development initiatives of the government. In 2010, she was a Critical Language Enhancement Scholar in Cairo. She graduated from the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College in May 2010 with a BA in Political Science and Arabic. During undergrad, she interned at both the Council on Foreign Relations and the U.S. Embassy in Bahrain. Lauren is originally from New York City.
