Author, 'Black, Gifted and Gay'

Leyla Farah is the author of Black, Gifted and Gay (now available on Amazon.com) and was a founding partner at Cause+Effect, a PR firm that focused exclusively on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Prior to founding Cause+Effect, she served as the Vice President of Programming and Production for PlanetOut Inc., where she oversaw the daily publication of news and feature stories for LGBT audiences around the world. Leyla holds a J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law at U.C. Berkeley and a B.A. from the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon. She currently lives in Los Angeles and sits on the board of Outfest.
