For the past twenty years, Liz Dow has been empowering professionals to lead a more purposeful life. As CEO of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, she has crafted programs that increase professionals’ confidence, optimism, and generosity. Its signature projects focus on researching and teaching Connectors, and Paying it Forward. She earned an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA from Cornell University, and a Wharton Public Policy Fellowship at the White House. She has served on non-profit and corporate boards of directors and has received many civic awards, but the accomplishment that brings her the most joy occurred the year that her daughter was named senior class president at Cornell and her son was elected senior class president at Episcopal Academy. She is the author of Six Degrees of Connection and Fast Company recently named her as one of the country’s 15 Top Superconnectors.
