Bio: Mamoun Mahayni is a 21-year-old Syrian pursuing a degree in political science from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He is currently participating in the UNAOC-EF Summer School program in Tarrytown, NY, which brings together 100 global youth leaders from 96 countries to receive direct mentorship from UN, EF and other international experts, engage in roundtable discussions and work collaboratively to solve pressing global challenges. Mamoun is the co-founder of Hand in Hand for Displaced Syrians, a charity organization dedicated to helping Syrian refugees displaced by the current conflict.
