Marco Gonzalez

Reporter, writer and dad

Marco Gonzalez has been covering news and entertainment for more than a decade as a reporter, anchor, writer, producer and blogger.

He began his career at Access Hollywood as a field producer. After four years at Access Hollywood, he transitioned into local news as a morning anchor and reporter working at stations in Arizona, Texas, Palm Springs and in Los Angeles at KTLA.

Marco has appeared on numerous national programs including ABC’s 20/20, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Access Hollywood, Extra, Entertainment Tonight and KIIS-FM with Ryan Seacrest.

In 2007, he married his high school sweetheart Debbie, and together they have two boys... a 4-year-old and a 10-month-old. As a dad, the subject of his writing now includes everything from not sleeping due to a teething infant to the truth about getting a vasectomy. No topic is off-limits. He tells it like it is with a bit of humor to ease the pain.

Marco is also an accomplished songwriter, with one of his latest tracks, "Didn't Mean It That Way," sung by country artist Danni Rosner, reaching #6 on iTunes Hot Tracks. His anti-bullying ballad about acceptance called "The Pearl" has also been viewed by thousands on social media.
