Founder, President and Executive Director, Mil Milagros

Margaret Blood is Mil Milagros’ founder and president and serves as the organization’s Executive Director, responsible for working with the Board to shape the organization’s strategic goals and direction, for raising all funds, building and managing partnerships with other organizations to help Mil Milagros achieve its goals, and supporting the In-Country Director in Guatemala. Margaret is the founder and past President of Strategies for Children, an award-winning children’s policy and advocacy organization based in Boston. Margaret resigned as President of SFC in December 2012 in order to devote full time to managing and building Mil Milagros. Margaret holds a Master in Public Administration degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and business from Skidmore College.
