Founder, President and CEO, The Children's Lifesaving Foundation

Maria D’Angelo is the Founder, President and CEO of The Children’s Lifesaving Foundation (CLF). In 1993, Maria started CLF and opened Circle X Ranch as a camp for homeless youth. That year, the inaugural group of children visited the campsite where they were served hot meals, made beautiful art projects, hiked in the mountains, swam in the Olympic-sized swimming pool and host of other activities. Today, over 75,000 at-risk and homeless children, teens and their families have attended the camps at the Circle X Ranch. They have come from shelters, group homes, churches and agencies dealing with at-risk youth in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
