Marina Illich, Ph.D. is a Bay Area-based executive coach and leadership consultant. She supports leaders worldwide to develop the agility, vision, integrity and authenticity needed to succeed in today’s global marketplace. Previously, Marina completed a doctorate in Buddhist Studies at Columbia University and spent five years in Asia studying Tibetan Buddhist practices for developing self-awareness, focus and resilience. For over two decades, she has researched how Tibetan leaders maintain presence, build compassion and inspire lasting followership under conditions of social uncertainty and complexity. In 2015, Marina was appointed to the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls by Gov. Jerry Brown.
