Mark Kalch is a professional explorer, adventurer, athlete and speaker. In 2010 he walked solo across the entire Islamic Republic of Iran, covering over 1,000 miles in 60 days. He has made a source to sea paddling descent of the entire Amazon River in South America, a journey of some 4,200 miles and 153 days. In 2011 he continues his 7 rivers, 7 continents project - source to sea paddling descents of the longest river on each continent, with North America's Mississippi River next in line.
