Mary and Lucy Firestone

Mary and Lucy Firestone are sisters who look like twins but aren't—they're actually quite different. The girls grew up in Washington, DC, and both graduated from Princeton University, yet Lucy has always been more the athletic tomboy and Mary more the social butterfly fashionista. Their differences have pushed them both to become more well rounded, and through their shared love of travel and experiencing new places and cultures, they have become best friends and first choice travel companions. In the entrepreneurial spirit of their great-grandfather Harvey Firestone of Firestone Tires, they founded a company (Firestone Sisters, Inc.) encompassing writing- for their blog ( www.firestonesisters.com), magazines and guidebooks; television; and eventually product, to encourage others to travel more authentically, effortlessly and dynamically, bringing that playful vacation spirit into everyday life!
