Matt Rigney

Matt Rigney is a conservationist, activist, recreational fisherman, public speaker and the author of In Pursuit of Giants: One Man’s Global Search for the Last of the Great Fish , published in 2012 by Viking/Penguin (www.inpursuitofgiants.com). In Pursuit of Giants tells the story of Rigney's global search to encounter the great fish of the sea--marlin, bluefin tuna, and swordfish--and to investigate the causes of their decline. The book covers adventures offshore of Mexico, Nova Scotia, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and in the Mediterranean. Mr. Rigney lives in western Massachusetts.
