Max Skolnik

Director of National Programs for the MBK Alliance

Max Skolnik is a dedicated youth and nonprofit advocate with nearly two decades of leadership experience in the field. After graduating from George Washington University with a Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies, Max founded Kid Power, Inc. in 2002. In his 10 years as the Executive Director, Kid Power operated high-quality academic, nutritional, and service-learning programs for thousands of young people throughout the District of Columbia. Following Kid Power, Max served for 4 years as the DC Executive Director of the Taproot Foundation. Currently, Max is the Director of National Programs at MBK Alliance, an independent, nonpartisan organization born out of President Obama’s call to action to ensure that all boys and young men of color have equal opportunity to achieve their full potential.
