Melinda Skea is the communications director of Becket Law, a non-profit, public-interest law firm dedicated to protecting the free expression of all religious traditions. For over 20 years it has successfully defended clients of all faiths, including Buddhists, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Native Americans, Sikhs, and Zoroastrians. Melinda has an M.A. in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, concentrating in communications and conflict resolution. During her graduate studies she participated in a research study focused on religious conflicts and public policy in India as well as completed an internship with Think Global Institute, an organization focused on helping women entrepreneurs in developing countries grow their businesses. Melinda is passionate about understanding different cultures and religions. She grew up in New York but escaped the accent (and the cold) and currently lives in Washington D.C.
