Deep learning research at Google Brain

Melody is a deep learning resident at Google Brain hailing from Toronto, Canada. She graduated in 2016 from Harvard University, where she wrote for The Harvard Crimson and The Harvard Political Review and earned a masters in statistics and a bachelors in chemistry and physics. In the past she interned at D.E. Shaw & Co. as a trader and did research on genome editing of stem cells. In high school she medalled at the International Physics Olympiad, International Chemistry Olympiad, and International Biology Olympiad, and was invited to the national training camp for the International Math Olympiad. She enjoys outdoor activities, classical music and hip hop, and reading about and discussing ethics, technology, and psychology.
