Meredith Ely

As a Teach For America corps member, Meredith spent the last two years teaching in urban Chicago. In addition to gaining insight into the infrastructure and management of the public school system, she got an inside look at other federal and state programs for early childhood education including HeadStart, Preschool For All, and childcare initiatives run by the state Department of Human Services.

Meredith attended Stanford University, where she focused her academic work on the politics and ethics of public services for youth in the American Studies department. Following a passion for education and youth advocacy, she received her Master of Science in Education from Dominican University. She currently works as the marketing manager at LearnBoost, a fast growing, venture capital backed education software company with a social mission to bring positive reform to schools.
