Radio’s Buzz Burbank

Known as Buzz Burbank, Michael J. Elston is an established radio personality in Washington D.C. and around the country.

A prominent character on the nationally-syndicated Don and Mike Show and Mike O'Meara Show for nearly 18 years, he also worked in news for CBS Radio for 24 years.

An award-winning news anchor, born and raised in Kansas, lending a Midwestern sensibility to whatever message he delivers.

Buzz started in Wichita Kansas in the '70's...and worked on the air in New Orleans, Minneapolis, Philadelphia and San Diego.

He spent much of the '80's with CBS in Chicago, where he won the Associated Press award for Best Newscast.

Through the '90's and beyond, he's been at Washington's WJFK, where he's won even more recognition. Buzz has also hosted talk and entertainment shows, and worked a bit in television.

He's been married to Marsha for 34 years.
They have 2 cats and own a home in Fairfax Virginia.

His interests include reading, photography,
and home electronics.
