Michael Mallory is the author of seven books on popular culture, including The Science Fiction Universe...and Beyond and Universal Studios Monsters: a Legacy of Horror, three novels, and more than 120 short stories. As an entertainment journalist, he was written more than 450 articles for such publications as the Daily Variety, The Los Angeles Times, Animation Magazine, Written By and Newsday. A graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, Mike worked as a radio newscaster and an actor before turning to writing full time. He lives in the Greater Los Angeles area.
