USA Representative, Adalah - The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel

Nadia Ben-Youssef is a human rights lawyer and international advocate working to promote the rights of Palestinian citizens of Israel and Palestinians living under Occupation. Since 2010, she has served as the international advocacy coordinator for Adalah - The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel in the organization's Naqab (Negev) office in southern Israel, and in August began her role as the organization’s first USA Representative. Her work with Adalah has focused primarily on challenging Israel's violations of the human rights of the indigenous Palestinian Bedouin community through targeted international advocacy, media outreach, and public campaigns. Since Adalah launched its Stop Prawer campaign in 2012, Nadia has coordinated the organization’s public efforts against the government’s plan to displace up to 70,000 Bedouin from their ancestral land.
