Nadia Owusu is a Brooklyn-based writer and urban planner focused on creating a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. She leads knowledge and research at Living Cities. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Catapult, The Cossack Review, Columbia Journal, The Huffington Post, The Rumpus, and Nonprofit Quarterly. She is working on a collection of essays about the fault lines of identity. Nadia is a graduate of the Mountainview MFA program in Creative Nonfiction. She earned an MS from Hunter College's Department of Urban Affairs and Planning and a BA in Political Science from Pace University.
