She worked with International Medical Corp in the post-Balkan War recovery effort in Gjalen, Kosovo, and has volunteered in Belize, Guatemala, and Mexico. She volunteers as communications Liaison with ONE NURSE AT A TIME a nonprofit that involves and supports nurses in humanitarian volunteerism.
